Landmarks
A landmark is a special type of chunk that holds strategic value for towns. These areas are protected, generate unique resources, and can only be claimed under specific conditions.
Protected Chunk
Landmarks are non-interactive areas: Players cannot break or place blocks inside a landmark chunk. This restriction ensures the preservation and integrity of the landmark.
Resource Generation
Once claimed by a town, a landmark will automatically generate a specific resource every day.
Each landmark has an internal storage inventory, allowing resources to accumulate without needing daily manual collection.
The type of resource produced is specific to the landmark and may vary depending on its type or location.
Town Control
A town can only claim a limited number of landmarks.
This limit can be increased through the town’s upgrade panel.
A landmark must be explicitly claimed by the town before it begins resource production.
Claiming Requirements
Depending on server configuration, claiming a landmark may involve:
A monetary cost (towns must pay to claim).
A requirement that the landmark be surrounded by claimed town chunks.
Meeting upgrade or rank conditions before being allowed to capture additional landmarks.
Once claimed, the landmark becomes part of the town's territory and begins producing its resource daily.
Strategic Role
Landmarks serve as valuable strategic points for towns:
Control over rare or powerful resources.
A reason for expansion, defense, and conflict between towns.
It is possible to capture landmarks through war goals.
Carefully managing your town’s landmark capacity and securing key areas can offer a significant advantage in resource production and long-term growth.
